  1. What are the advantages of equitent products compared to riding halls with solid constructions?
equitent riding tents and lunging halls score high in terms of value for money. Conventional riding halls with a wood or steel construction require major capital, both for the new building itself and for maintenance and upkeep. A riding or lunging hall from equitent, however, is not only available at a fraction of the cost but is virtually maintenance-free. In addition, the grid dimension (i.e. the width) of riding hall cavola can be expanded if required, and with little effort involved. Unlike solid riding halls, our mobile, sophisticated constructions can be assembled at virtually any location within a short space of time. It is also possible to move the halls to other locations quite quickly at any time. The translucent PVC roofing and the wind break nets on the side ensure a bright, pleasant indoor climate at any time of day and in all weathers. The side net panels give riders and horses an open view.

  3. Is planning permission required for riding halls, riding tents or lunging halls?
A mobile hall system can be installed for a very short time with no major formalities thanks to the simplified building permit procedure for "temporary constructions". If the hall is intended to be used for more than three months, your local building authority will then decide whether a building application is required. equitent can provide you with a TÜV-approved structural analysis or test book for this. We will also gladly advise you on all related building application issues and assist you with the process.

  4. What should the building ground be like?
equitent riding halls, riding tents and lunging halls can be assembled on natural ground, paved and tarmac surfaces or compressed gravel using soil nailing. The construction is secured on concrete with heavy duty anchor fittings.

  5. What materials are used for the construction of a riding hall?
The hall framework is made from aluminium profiles or hot-dip galvanised steel parts and is therefore corrosion-resistant. The roof and wall panels are made from high-quality translucent, UV-resistant, PVDF-coated tarpaulin, produced in accordance with EN 15619. It is flame-retardant as per DIN 4102 and EN 13501, dirt-repellent and fitted with low-wick coated polyester threads. It is also possible to use other wall panels if required.

  6. What requirements do the equitent hall systems meet with regard to wind and snow load?
When planning, it is important to consider the regional snow and wind loads. Riding hall cavola and lunging hall cavarena can be assembled in wind and snow load zones 1 - 3.

  7. What finance options does equitent offer?
